$100 Million In Earned Income Tax Credits For Entergy Customers

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation has recognized Entergy for helping low-income customers move towards economic self-sufficiency. Entergy's Super Tax Day program has resulted in $100 million in federal Earned Income Tax Credits that were returned to approximately 58,000 Entergy customers in Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi and Texas since 2009.

$10.1 million in Earned Income Tax Credits were earned by 5,516 Louisiana customers with the help of Entergy volunteers. Each year over $2.5 billion in Earned Income Tax Credits go unclaimed in the four states served by Entergy.
