7th Annual Atchafalaya Basin Festival is November 8 in Henderson

The 7th annual Atchafalaya Basin Festival is a fund raising project for Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson, and Sacred Heart of Jesus Chapel in Butte La Rose, and this year is going to be held on Saturday, November 8th. The festival celebrates the unique Cajun heritage and the sportsman’s paradise of the Atchafalaya Basin, which we love so much! Some of the festivities include great local entertainment, a pageant, a gumbo or fish courtbouillion cooking contest, car and truck show, raffle, bingo, live and silent auctions, parade, food, arts and crafts, motorcycle poker run, and kid games.There truly is something for everyone! Admission is free, and the festival will be held at Henry Guidry Memorial Park in Henderson, so come pass a good time, sha!
