Brig. Gen. Robert LeBlanc, U.S. Army (Ret.) is headed to DC to receive the nation's highest civilian honor.

The Abbeville veteran thought he wouldn't be able to make it to Washington to get the award after running into some technical difficulties with his original Delta flight. According to KATC, LeBlanc was set to receive the medal for his efforts in the OSS during World War II.

Thanks to LHC Group, Inc. LeBlanc is on his way to the ceremony!
