UPDATE *** Acadia Crime Stoppers Asking For Help Finding Armed Robbery Suspect

Earlier today Crowley Police issued arrest warrants for 18-year-old Syle Mier for armed robbery, false imprisonment and unauthorized use of a moveable.

Shortly after 10:00am today Mier's body was found in a field off of Ebeneezer Road just east of Crowley. Mier was lying face down and an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.

Mier and a juvenile were wanted for a simple robbery in Crowley over the weekend. Rayne Police had spotted Mier and the juvenile and chased their vehicle until it reached the Highway 90 overpass. Both suspects ran but the juvenile was caught by a K-9.
