Crowley Police officials are hoping someone with come forward with information about a probable robbery that turned into a shooting on August 26 in the early hours of the day.

At around one o'clock that morning, the victim told police he heard something at his door, and as he was making his way over to it to investigate, shots came through the door.

The victim was hit in the hand.

Crowley PD believes whoever it was at the door was likely working to undo the light bulb from around that area. Robbery was likely the motive of the crime.

The guy who lives there could only tell police that he only remembers seeing a black male, likely in his 20's or 30's.

Police say this happened in the 100 block of W. 3rd St.
