Accidents Averted On I-49 North

Luckily no accidents occurred on I-49 North Tuesday evening due to large saw blades found embedded in the road. Deputies were called out to the Cloutierville/Derry exit by motorists who first saw two large saw blades sticking out of the concrete and several overturned barricades. According to our news partner KATC, DOTD called the construction company doing road work in the area to remove the blades and reinstall the barricades.
