On May 27, you can bring your pet to several locations throughout Lafayette Parish for an affordable way to vaccinate them against Rabies. Lafayette Animal Aid, Lafayette Consolidated Government, and area veterinarians will sponsor their annual Rabies Clinics, and the cost is only $7 per shot, cash only. All animals in Lafayette Parish over the age of four months must be vaccinated against rabies by a licensed veterinarian and registered with the city yearly.

You can fill out the required paperwork to save time before heading to the clinics, but remember that ferrets are not eligible to be vaccinated at the clinics.

On Saturday, May 27, the clinics will be held from 1:30 - 2:30 at Alice Boucher, Comeaux High, Duson City Hall, L. Leo Judice Elementary , and Northside High
