Armed Robbery In Amelia Under Investigation

Sunday afternoon St. Mary Parish deputies were called out to the Family Dollar Store on Highway 182 in Amelia in response to an armed robbery. The armed suspect made off with approximately $150 in cash. No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's office.
