ATC’s “Operation Trick or Treat” Hits 14 More Strip Clubs

Commissioner of Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control Troy Hebert says undercover agents cited 14 additional adult entertainment venues during the Agency’s undercover statewide investigation named “Operation Trick or Treat”.  Strip clubs were issued citations for prostitution, lewd acts, and drug activity.  Six of the businesses were issued emergency suspensions due to the threat to public safety.  The following strip clubs were ordered to stop selling alcohol and/or tobacco products immediately:

• Shelly’s – Houma
• Temptations – Sulphur
• Club Vixen – Lake Charles
• Club Cabaret – West Lake
• Judy’s Lounge – Morgan City
• Temptations – Morgan City

This statewide operation comes only weeks after 9 clubs were cited in the French Quarter in New Orleans.

Commissioner Troy Hebert said,

ATC has two words for strip clubs across the state; straighten up. It’s simple. If you allow drugs and prostitution, your alcohol permit will be in jeopardy.
