Respect. That's a word that is not tossed about lightly in the island nation of Jamaica. Respect is what life is based on. Respect is what the Jamaican Women's Bobsled Team was not being shown when their former coach was reassigned.

There is still a bit of uncertainty as to whether or not Sandra Kiriasis quit or whether she was reassigned to a position she didn't want while the team was competing at the PeyongChang Winter Olympic games. What we do know is that Kiriasis had the rights to the bobsled the team was going to use and she wasn't going allow the team permission to use it. Unless she got paid.

This is where Respect surfaces again. Enter the most popular beer in Jamaica, Red Stripe. Upon learning of the issue between the coach, the team, and the Jamaican Olympic organizers, Red Strip Tweeted this.

That's right the company just offered to purchase the Jamaican sled from the former coach so the team could compete. That is absolutely awesome.

A Red Stripe spokesman told NBC Olympics.

This is not a joke. The games are an honor to compete in, and as the No. 1 beer in Jamaica, we want to help those athletes realize their dreams. The athletes clearly have no quit, so we would love to do our part and put the cost of a new bobsled on our ‘bar tab.

The team did contact the company and the connection was made and the bill was paid. This may be the second Miracle on Ice as far as the lore of the Winter Games will recall in the future.

Qualifying and heat races will continue on the track today as the Jamaican Women will compete with the Nigerian Women's team as well as teams from other nations around the world.

Feel the rhythm, Feel the rhyme, Get on up, It's bobsled time. RESPECT!
