Beijing To Be The First To Host Both Games

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — No city has ever hosted both the summer and winter Olympics. But now, Beijing will be the first.

The Chinese capital has been awarded the 2022 Winter Olympics, taking the games back to the city that hosted the summer version in 2008.

The International Olympic Committee sees Beijing as a secure, reliable choice.
