Boustany Supports Increased Louisiana Jobs And Energy

(Washington, DC) – Congressman Charles W. Boustany, Jr., M.D., (R-South Louisiana) issued the following statement after the House passed H.R. 4, the Jobs for America Act, and H.R. 2, the American Energy Solutions for Lower Costs and More American Jobs Act.

Boustany said: “Our continued economic success in South Louisiana through expanded energy production, business-friendly policies, and low taxes is becoming a model for recovery for the rest of the nation. Low unemployment rates in Lafayette and Lake Charles and continuing investment in energy production and liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports prove when we implement policies that allow businesses to succeed, everyone benefits.
