The Broussard Police Department will be hosting a training session at Broussard Middle Monday morning (8/6/18) and they want the public to be aware of what is going on.

According to KATC-TV 3, police say that citizens may see a huge police presence at the school and may even hear gunshots during the training session.

Police will be firing blanks during the training session, so educators can learn what gunfire sounds and smells like.

We should note here that there will be no students on campus during the training session, only educators and administrators,

Please feel free to share with others on social media so that the community is aware of the training session and no one is alarmed by such.
