The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns may not be on national television in the 2018 season, but fans will be happy to know there will be October football at Cajun Field

The Cajuns released their 2018 football schedule today and will have all of their games in the 2018 year on a Saturday.

After the season opener against Grambling opens the Billy Napier Era at Louisiana, the Cajuns will have an open date and then play eleven straight Saturdays.  The regular season will end November 24 when the Cajuns travel to ULM.

The Cajuns will alternate home and road dates throughout the season, with exception of back to back road games at Alabama (9/29) and Texas State (10/6) and back to back home games with Georgia State (11/10) and South Alabama (11/17).

The Cajuns' homecoming contest will be on Saturday, October 13th against New Mexico State in a non conference game.

Saturday, December 1st will be the inaugural Sun Belt Conference Football Championship Game featuring the winners of the East and West Divisions.
