Colts Sign Former Saints DB Arthur Maulet

A former New Orleans Saints defensive back has found a new home.

A native of Kenner, the Saints waived Maulet last Friday, after he appeared in one of the first two games this season, without making a tackle.

The 25-year old Maulet signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent following the 2017 NFL Draft.

Last season, which he split between the Saints' active and practices squad rosters, Maulet appeared in six games, mainly on special teams.

Maulet played his college football at Memphis, where he compiled 73 tackles, including 57 solo stops, to go along with 7.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, and two interceptions as a senior in 2016.
