House Majority Leader Paul Ryan and Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi have long been on opposing sides of the political spectrum, but all that was put aside at the Congressional Baseball game last night in Washington. They talked about leadership in the wake of a tragedy such as this week's shooting of LA Congressman Steve Scalise.

Both were wearing LSU gear sent by the University in support of the ailing Scalise who was wounded during a baseball practice for the game. The game kicked off on an emotional note as wounded Capitol Police Officer David Bailey threw out the ceremonial first pitch. The game sold out with over 25,000 seats sold. The event raised more than a million dollars for Washington, DC area charities.
