Counterfeit Check Lands Man In Acadia Parish Jail

30 year old Cory Hankins of Denham Springs was arrested for using a counterfeit check at a local bank. The Crowley Police Department with the Rayne Police Department identified Hankins as the person who obtained funds by fraudulent means. Hankins was charged with Monetary Instrument Abuse and passing a counterfeit check. Hankins was booked into the Acadia Parish Jail pending bond.
