Two more fugitives have been arrested through cooperation between the St. Landry and Lafayette Parish Crime Stoppers programs.

Maj. Eddie Thibodeaux reported Stanley Broussard and Tim DeCuir were arrested after Crime Stoppers of Lafayette had received an anonymous tip of two fugitives wanted by the Lafayette Sheriff's Office seen in St. Landry Parish.

Forty-six year-old Broussard, of Carencro, was arrested Tuesday at a local business on fugitive warrants. Forty-six year-old Decuir, of St. Martinville, was--on Wednesday--also arrested on fugitive warrants at an Opelousas convenience store.

The arrest of these two fugitives shows what happens when concerned citizens, Crime Stoppers and law enforcement agencies work together," said Sheriff Bobby Guidroz.
