Detectives Arrest Abbeville Man On Drug And Other Charges

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office reports they arrested 27-year-old Jordon Bourque of Abbeville on Wednesday night for multiple charges after he was seen driving over the fog line repeatedly on Highway 90.

Narcotics detectives say they pulled Bourque over to conduct a traffic stop, and they received consent to search his car.

Detectives found out Bourque was driving with a suspended license, and he had an open alcoholic beverage in the car.

He is facing the following charges:

• Improper lane usage
• Driving under suspension
• Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Open alcoholic container in motor vehicles
• Warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple battery

Bourque was then booked into the St. Mary Parish Jail.
