Law enforcement across southern Louisiana is searching for the suspect wanted in Monday's Duval Street shooting.

The Lafayette Police Department has issued a warrant for the arrest of 28-year-old Kendrick Anthony Fobb, of Gramercy, for the shooting death of Christopher Isaac.

Upon his arrest, Fobb will be charged with first-degree murder.

Witnesses told police the suspect confronted Isaac at the entrance to his Duval Street home in Lafayette before the two began arguing. The suspect then brandished a gun and shot Isaac.

The 51-year-old victim was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his wounds.
