We live in a state that is famous for it's cuisine. Tell anyone that you are from Louisiana, and all they want to talk about is the great food, and we agree!

Only in Louisiana has reminded us of some of the most famous restaurants in the Bayou State, and the ones that are well worth visiting, especially if you want to show off to your out of town guests.   • Commander's Palace - Garden District, New Orleans. Where Chefs Paul Prudhomme and Emeril LaGasse got their start. Open since 1893.
  • Herby-K's - Shreveport - famous for their Shrimp Buster Po Boy
  • Juban's - Baton Rouge - old school family owned steakhouse
  • Antler's - Lafayette - the oldest bar in the Hub City, open since 1921, and serving delicious cajun comfort food
  • Middendorf's - famous for their thin cut catfish, and views overlooking Bayou Manchac
  • Antoine's - New Orleans - the oldest family run restaurant in the country. Classic creole cuisine
  • Galatoire's - New Orleans - one of the oldest restaurants in Louisiana, specializing in fresh seafood dishes
  • Prejean's - Lafayette - right on I-49, this local restaurant is famous for their southern cuisine and cajun bands performing nightly
  • Steamboat Bill's - Lake Charles, Alexandria, Deridder - crawfish dishes galore
  • Jacques-Imo's - New Orleans - Creole and cajun dishes
  • Louie's - Baton Rouge - traditional diner food near LSU's campus
