Festivals Acadiens et Créoles gets cranked up later this week at Girard Park here in Lafayette.

As always, the festival is free to attend and will be held on October 11-14, 2018.

For 2018, the festival will be celebrating the "Lyrical Legacy of Caesar Vincent" along with the 50th anniversary of CODOFIL. The event will remember Acadiana's heritage and the legacy of French songs that been preserved during the last half-century.
