First Ever Law Enforcement Walk Across Acadiana

Tomorrow, local law enforcement agencies listed below will participate in the very first “Law Enforcement Walk Across Acadiana”. This is the third walk conducted by the Lafayette Police Department and additional agencies will be out to meet and engage with their citizens as well.

All are invited to the areas listed below for a chance to meet with local law enforcement.

Lafayette Police Department

Meet at Downtown Library parking lot at 5:30 Walk will begin at 6:00 p.m. through “The Block”

Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Department

Ile Des Cannes Subdivision located off of Herbert Road. Meeting at the Family Life Church (2223 Dulles Drive) the Herbert Road entrance closest to Ile Des Cannes Subdivision at 5:30 pm. Sheriff Garber will have a short briefing and we will begin at 6:00 pm.
