A former All-American is transferring from the Louisiana Ragin' softball program.

A 2017 NFCA First Team All-American, following NFCA Second Team All-American honors in 2016, Craighton was also a first team All-Sun Belt Conference and All-Louisiana selection in both years.

A native of Prairieville, Louisiana, Craighton hit a .345 last season, to go along with 18 home runs and 53 runs batted in, after hitting a .378 with 18 homers and 58 RBI's in 2016.

A three-year starter for Louisiana, Craighton will be eligible to play for the Wildcats in 2018, and have one year of eligibility remaining.

Craighton becomes the fourth UL player from last year's roster to leave the program.

Shortstop DJ Sanders is transferring to Oregon and pitcher Alyssa Denham is transferring to Arizona, while catcher Brittany Nollkamper, who left the program prior to the dismissal of former head coach Michael Lotief, is transferring to Arkansas.
