There is a gas war erupting on the south side of Houston.

Two gas stations are going head to head and gas has reportedly dipped as low as 79 cents. Naturally, vehicles were lined up around the block to take advantage of the low prices at a Chevron and Texaco station.

According to ABC13, the supervisor at the Chevron station said they lowered their prices in response to the Texaco station lowering their prices.

We aren't sure if the offer of 79 cents per gallon is still in place, but anyone who got filled up for cheap probably enjoyed it while it lasted.
