As parents, our hearts go out to those families whose lives are rocked by the injury or death of a child left in a hot car. It seems like this has become more common in recent years, but why? Over the weekend in Utah, police rescued a child from a car after the toddler had been inside for 2 1/2 hours. The temperature in the car reached up 155 degrees. KPEL listeners sounded off this morning when we talked about how to curb this tragic trend.
