On the 1-year anniversary of the 2016 August floods that ravaged parts of Louisiana, HUD Secretary Dr. Ben Carson is touring areas of the Pelican State that were affected.

Monday, Secretary Carson is touring Denham Springs Housing with U.S. Senator John Kennedy, U.S. Rep. Garret Graves and Mayor Gerard Landry. Tuesday, Secretary Carson will be in New Orleans to tour public housing developments rebuilt with HUD funding after the catastrophic 2005 hurricanes, which included Hurricane Katrina.
