There will be another lane closure this Wednesday that is part of the widening project on Interstate Ten between I-49 and Breaux Bridge.

Department of Transportation officials say that westbound left lane of Interstate Ten between Breaux Bridge (this is Exit 109) and the Bayou Teche Bridge will be closed.

The work will start at 8 o'clock this Wednesday night, June 6, and the work will continue through 6 o'clock Thursday morning, June 7.

Workers are closing this section of roadway so that they can put up span girders in that area.

As always, DOTD officials thank you for your patience with ongoing work, and they remind drivers to watch for workers and equipment in the work zone.
