A former Pro Bowl receiver is scheduled to visit the New Orleans Saints.


A 2008 2nd round draft choice by the Packers in 2008 out of Stanford, Nelson spent his entire 10-year career in Green Bay, prior to being released on Tuesday.

Named to the 2014 Pro Bowl, Nelson compiled 53 last season for 482 yards and 6 touchdowns.

Just one year earlier, in 2016, Nelson caught 97 passes for 1,257 yards and a career-high 14 touchdowns.

Over his career, the 32-year old Nelson has accumulated 650 receptions for 7,848 yards and 69 scores.

A native of Manhattan, Kansas, Nelson is visiting the Raiders on Wednesday, prior to visiting the Seahawks and the Saints.
