Justin Bieber is on the hottest song in the country, so you would think he has learned the lyrics by now.

Bieber is featured on the remix to Luis Fonsi's 'Despacito' and not only is the track the hottest song in the country, it's a mega-hit worldwide. So it makes perfect sense that his fans would want him to perform the record during his live shows.

Except, there's one big problem: He doesn't know the words.

A video taken by a fan at Stockholm's Summerburst Festival showed fans requesting the pop star perform 'Despacito' but the Biebs had to turn them down.

I can’t do ‘Despacito.’ I don’t even know it. I can’t do the song. I can’t do it.

At least one person in the crowd wasn't feeling his response as a water bottle can be seen flying at the Canadian singer's head. Bieber dodged the bottle, telling the crowd "Whoa, don't throw things at me, please," but for the most part he seemed to be a good sport about it.

This isn't the first time Justin Bieber made headlines related to his ignorance when it comes to the 'Despacito' lyrics. A few weeks ago he was caught on video stumbling through a performance of the song saying things like "blah, blah, blah" and replacing the lyrics with words like "burrito" and "Dorito."

But even the song's creator, Luis Fonsi, admits it's not the easiest song to perform.

That chorus is not easy to sing, even for fluent Spanish singers like myself. It’s got a lot of lyrics, it’s kind of tongue-twisty ... I’ve done songs in other languages. I know how hard it is.

Bieber's feature is mostly in English, but the majority of the song is in Spanish. Regardless, you think by now he would have invested the time into learning those lyrics being that the record is a worldwide smash.

As the record continues to fly up the charts, maybe this will be the week Justin learns the words to his own #1 hit.
