The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office arrested a Carencro man Sunday after he allegedly set fire to two trucks and a home and then fired several gunshots and three people.

Police said 60-year-old Michael Delcambre admitted to lighting a tee shirt and then putting it in the middle room of one of the trailer homes. The fire from that incident spread to a second home, police said.

Police said Delcambre also fired several gunshots into the air after the pulling the firearm on them.

Delcambre faces two counts of simple arson and three counts of aggravated assault. He was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center, and bond was set at $175,000.
