Lafayette Parish Intersection To Close For Work

A Lafayette Parish intersection, the intersection of Verot School Road and Fairview Parkway will be closed down on Monday and Tuesday of next week.

The closure is needed as work continues on the widening of Verot School Road.

The intersection of Fairview Parkway and Verot School Road will close Monday morning at 6 o'clock, and it's scheduled to reopen Tuesday, March 21 at 5 p.m.

Drivers can detour around the work by using Yvette Marie Drive and Gussie Drive.

If for some reason the weather is bad, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development would cancel the project for those days.
