Lafayette Police Make Early Morning OWI Arrest

This morning (Wednesday 8/27/14) at 7:30am Lafayette Police officers were called out to the 3000 block of West Pinhook in response to a crash on a private parking lot. The driver of the vehicle told officers he 'blacked out' and struck a person who was standing next to his vehicle. The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital and is reported to be in critical condition. The driver of the car, 26 year old David Scott of Lafayette was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
