Lafayette Police Search For Stabbing Suspect

Lafayette Police are searching for a suspect involved in a stabbing that has left one victim in critical condition.

A police department spokesman reported the stabbing occurred today around 2 p.m. in the 400 block of Sampson Street.

The 49-year-old victim is being treated at a local hospital for multiple stab wounds to his upper torso.

Anyone with information on the stabbing, or the suspect's whereabouts, is urged to call the Lafayette Police Department or Lafayette Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
