Lafayette Sheriff’s Department Arrests Man Who Terrorizes People On A School Bus

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office says they work an intensive investigation, and they were able to find Vontraven Thibeaux.

He was wanted by sheriff's deputies for allegedly terrorizing the people on a school bus with a gun last Thursday.

Thibeaux was also wanted on two counts of attempted second degree murder after an incident that happened on August 18 of this year.

Several units in the Lafayette Sheriff's Office teamed up to find and then arrested Thibeaux at an address in the 2100 block of the Northeast Evangeline Thruway last night.
