Lafayette Shooting Leaves Woman Injured

Over the weekend Lafayette Parish Sheriff's deputies were called out in response to a reported shooting in the 200 block of Grossie Avenue. Upon arrival at the 'after prom' party deputies learned that a female victim had been hit in the leg after several shots were fired into the crowd. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries and released.
