The 2016 high school football season will come to an end this weekend, with five state title game scheduled in the second weekend of the Allstate Sugar Bowl/LHSAA Prep Classic at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, La.

Last weekend, four champions were crowned in the select brackets, with five more being decided this weekend, including two on Friday, and three more on Saturday.

The Class 1A state title will be a match-up of the top seeds, with #1-seed Haynesville taking on #2-seed Logansport at 4:30 on Friday afternoon.

The second title game of Friday will be the Class 2A championship game, which will feature 2nd-seeded Madison Prep and 4th-seeded Sterlington, with kickoff scheduled for approximately 8 pm.

Three more title games will be on the line on Saturday, with the first being the Class 3A championship game, as #4-seed Lutcher battles #7-seed Amite, beginning at noon.

At 3:30 on Saturday afternoon, it's the Class 4A championship game, with top-seeded Neville meeting second-seeded Karr.

The final game of the weekend, and of the season, will be the Class 5A state title game, featuring #2-seed West Monroe and #5-seed Landry-Walker, which will begin at approximately 7 o'clock.
