It wasn't the estimated $147 million or so that was Wednesday night's (July 25) top prize in the multi-state lottery game Powerball but it was a nice chunk of change. I don't think any of us would tell the Louisiana Lottery people just to keep $50,000. I know I wouldn't do it.

A ticket purchased in Louisiana is worth $50,000 to its holder this morning. The numbers on that ticket matched four of the five white ball numbers and the Powerball in the July 25th drawing.

If you didn't get last night's numbers there were:02 18 41 44 64 PB 26 PP 2x.

The ticket that matched four of those numbers and the Powerball was purchased in Metairie at Quincy Express on Clearview Parkway. By the way, users on Yelp recommend you get a muffuletta from there.

The next Powerball drawing is set for Saturday night and lottery officials estimate that by the time ticket sales cease the jackpot for matching all of the numbers and the Powerball will be $168 million.
