23 year old Justin Corey Thurston of McLain, Mississippi pleaded guilty yesterday to one count of assault with a dangerous weapon. According to evidence presented at his guilty plea Thurston got into a physical altercation with his estranged wife at her home at Fort Polk. When she refused to give him her cell phone Thurston left the home and hit a man in the head with a baseball bat on the way out.

At sentencing Thurston could get up to 10 years in prison, three years supervised release and a $250,000 fine.
