New Iberia Man Gets 15 Months In Prison On Sex Charge

63 year old Rodger Dale Seilhan of New Iberia was sentenced to 15 months in prison today by US District Judge Richard Haik. Seilhan was sentenced for count of failure to register as a convicted sex offender.

According to evidence presented at his guilty plea on May 14, 2014 Seilhan failed to report his whereabouts for two years. Seilhan was originally sentenced to 15 years in prison for aggravated sexual assault of a child. After being released he reported changes of address while living in Texas until 2012. He had not reported any address changes since that time.
