Normal Trash Collection In Lafayette On Memorial Day

Lafayette Consolidated Government officials say they will be no changes to the regular garbage schedule this coming Monday, May 30, Memorial Day.

While many people have the day off, those working on garbage and recycling for Republic Services in Lafayette Parish will run their regularly scheduled routes.

As per the new routine, all garbage and recycling customers are asked to put out both their garbage and recycling cans the night before the day of your service.

The Compost Facility will close at noon on Friday, May 27, be closed on Memorial Day, but will reopen on Tuesday, May 31 at 7 a.m.
