Rayne Police Looking For Tips After Shooting

Rayne Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the person responsible for firing off shots at the King City Store on West Jeff Davis Avenue.

Police say multiple calls came in about the man shooting at people.

The shots went through the store into another business, but no one was hurt even though there were multiple employees and customers there.

Police say they are searching for a black male suspect. He fled before an officer got to the scene.

Rayne Police are asking anyone who knows anything to call their office or to call the Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers line at 789-TIPS.
