Over the years we've become accustomed to the mud-slinging that occurs during political election season. They say attack ads work in the political world, but based on who's remaining in the grocery world, it didn't work out quite as well for the Real Superstore. In the '80s the Superstore ads many times called out their competitor Winn Dixie by name and criticized their pricing directly. Well, the Real Superstore is now the Grand 16 on Johnston, and Winn Dixies still exist in the Lafayette area so we know who the ultimate winner was in the battle of grocery supremacy.

I still miss the workers on roller skates (the non-inline classic 4 wheelers) and the generic yellow product labels.
