247Sports reported late last night that the Nick Saban coaching tree could be expanding to Lafayette and the University of Louisiana. According to a story on the website.

Arizona State offensive coordinator and associate head coach Billy Napier has been offered the head coaching job at Louisiana-Lafayette, according to a source familiar with the development.

The story stated that the deal offered to Napier would be a five-year deal, however, financial terms were not disclosed.

There has been no official announcement from the UL Athletic Department although scuttlebutt in the community has hinted that an official announcement could come as early as Friday, December 15th.
