The New Orleans Saints have added some depth on the defensive line.


A 6-foot-3, 310-pound defensive tackle, Bromley participated in the Saints' recent rookie minicamp over the weekend, prior to signing.

A native of Jamaica, New York Bromley played his college football at Syracuse, before being selected in the 3rd-round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the New York Giants.

In four seasons in the NFL, all with the Giants, Bromley has appeared in 55 games, including two as a starter, compiling 47 total tackles, including two sacks.

Last season, the 25-year old Bromley appeared in 8 games, accumulating five tackles.

In addition to Bromley, the Saints also signed veteran offensive lineman Michael Line, along with a couple of undrafted rookies; linebacker KeShun Freeman and fullback Ryan Yurachek.

To make room on the roster, the Saints waived linebacker Adam Bighill, offensive lineman Daronte Bouldin, and defensive backs Rickey Jefferson and Bradley Sylve.
