The New Orleans Saints are planning a private visit for a former LSU defensive standout.

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Key was named a freshman All-American in 2015 at LSU, after racking up 41 tackles, including 5 sacks.

As a sophomore in 2016, Key set a single-season school record by recording 12 sacks, while being tabbed first-team All-SEC.

Limited to 8 games due to injury in 2017, Key finished with 33 tackles, including 4 sacks, to go along with a forced fumble

The 6-foot-6, 265-pound Key is projected to be a late-first-round or early-second-round pick in this year's draft, which is scheduled to get started on April 26.

The Saints hold the No. 27 overall pick in the draft.
