If you've been turned away from shelters because of too many donations, you'll have another chance to help out this weekend.

KATC reports that a community assistance day will be held on Saturday at the Northgate Mall. The event will allow community organizations and local businesses to support those who have been affected by the recent flooding.

Non-perishable food and cleaning supplies will be provided for those who provide identification.The Salvation Army and The American Red Cross will provide resources to those in need. A shipment of food from Midwest Food Bank in Illinois will be distributed to those in attendance on Saturday. Click the link for more information.
