Scott Police Looking For Automobile Thief

Scott Police are looking for an automobile thief captured yesterday on surveillance footage.

Police say a white man with brown hair standing about 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-10-inches tall stole a green, 1998 Ford Taurus from the Cracker Barrel parking lot at 1806 St. Mary St. It happened around 3 p.m. yesterday, and the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office found the abandoned vehicle around 2:30 this morning.

Anyone with information about the man pictured is asked to call Scott Police.
