On Wednesday, the stalemate between Louisiana's House and Senate all but ended after House members backed a $28 Billion operating budget that would appropriate every available dollar. This was something the two sides could not agree on during the regular session. The plan was approved by the Senate Finance Committee on Thursday and could pass the full Senate on Friday.
