Shaquille O'Neal is a big man. Big men like to eat. Shaquille likes to eat doughnuts. He obviously enjoys Krispy Kreme doughnuts so much that he bought a Krispy Kreme franchise.

You might expect O'Neal's franchise would be in New Orleans or Baton Rouge but that's not the case. If you want to get doughnuts from Shaq's doughnut shack you'll have to go to downtown Atlanta.

If you follow Shaq on social media you've probably noticed his affinity for Krispy Kreme's Original Glazed doughnuts. This affection of the fried dough confection has not only lead to O'Neal purchasing a franchise but for the company, Krispy Kreme, to announce Shaquille will be the official global spokesman for the brand.

Krispy Kreme prides itself on spreading joy and supporting local communities, and that’s a cause that I am thrilled to be a part of.Our goal is to help people find their happy place, and what better way than with a box of delicious Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

O'Neal's comments were part of a statement that was released by Krispy Kreme yesterday. This just adds to the list of the former NBA stars growing  number of endorsements. He's got over 50 companies that he shills for. It's kind of ironic that he sells Krispy Kreme now and also a sugar substitute. Sold to the highest bidder? Aint that America.
